On the way back from Win Green, a quick stop at the Caen Hill locks at Devizes.
Although the full flight is 29 locks, it is
these 16 in a straight line, with their large side-ponds (not visible here)
which bring the site its fame and its position as one of the
Seven Wonders of the Waterways
Having gone through the locks to the top, these people would be turning round
and coming back down tomorrow. The things some people do for a holiday!
It really is quite an impressive sight
