Shining Tor, Peak District

20 November 2004

On another beautiful November day, while Henry and Lucy were winning Best of Breed once more, Stephen and George went for a walk in the Peak District. Although it had been a cold morning in Enfield, there was no snow, and the amount we found up here was something of a surprise.

George enjoys his snow-bath!

Looking back to Errwood Reservoir as we continue to follow the signs to Cat & Fiddle, now also signing Shining Tor

Here we turn off the route to Cat & Fiddle to head to the summit of Shining Tor

He is having fun, honestly

After this, the ice-balls growing on George's feet started to cause him discomfort. I kept removing them from under his pads, but those on his legs grew to the size of tennis balls
