George and Stephen retraced their steps of 2003, taking Lucy, Henry and Ellie along the pleasant path from Halton through Wendover Woods to the summit of Haddington Hill

"This way everyone"

Lucy, George, Henry and Ellie near the highest point. This was Ellie's first English Marilyn, Lucy's 19th and Henry's 20th. (George is on 48 and Stephen on 74.)

On the way back down, the sunshine came out. This was Ellie's first "proper" walk, away from the park, and she thoroughly enjoyed running around with the pack.

George waits for everyone to catch up

Ellie was carried some of the way, but wasn't keen on this, and showed no signs of tiredness at all.
