National Trails and other Long Distance Walks

During 10 months of 2006, Stephen walked the London Loop in stages. This was much enjoyed, and since then, other multi-stage walks and National Trails have been started, some such as the Thames Path and North Downs Way being tackled rather randomly in sections, but with the ultimate aim of walking the whole route, others such as the Ridgeway and New River being walked in stages from one end to the other - both methods have their attractions. Perhaps one day a route will be attempted in one go (the Coast to Coast route both appeals and intimidates) but for now stage walking rules the day.
