Hi,
Just had look at your photos and did enjoy looking through them. I am doing research on canals for a talk I am doing. I was looking for some pictures of locks and the falkirk wheel when I came across yours thank you for letting us have a look.
I visited family up in Fort William and was trying to remember what the locks were called, brought back some nice moreries of a lovely week. Theresa

Stumbled across your walk through South Oxhey, where I grew up. Really appreciated the heavy image base to the site. Flabbergasted that Pinnerwood House is still superb over he pond.
I regret that the estate dwellers have transformed Oxhey Woods into something less attractive than I remember from my exploration in the 1950's and 1960's, though the Water Authority started the rot by building a reservoir over the most superb pond I've ever encountered...
