Loved the pix of Wildcat island. We were there a couple of years ago and didn't land as we were in a hired power boat and worried about going aground etc. Thanx for the insight. Life long admirer of Ransome and would be pirate, though I guess I'm not tough enough to crew Amazon!

We just missed you on the canal by two weeks! Our pictures are virtually the same. What boat has a water gauge? Our 8th, and we've never had a gauge of any sort! Cheers.

Hi Stephen and Lucy I'm hunting for a good photo of the Secret Harbour on Wild Cat Island for a magazine article, ad came across yours of April 2007 - the dinghy in the harbour with a 'not very tidy harbour stow'. Is it possible you can send me a hi-res version? (payment if used!) Thanks Peter
